During June 12 and 13, Miguel Morales PhD (c) from Universidad Galileo (Guatemala) hold the teacher training workshop of the MOOC-Maker project in Universidad del Cauca (Colombia).
This workshop aims to build capacity for the management of MOOCs in higher education. Teachers from University of Cauca of the Health Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics areas, among others, participated in this event. They had the opportunity to learn about the MOOC-Maker project, the current situation of MOOCs, methodology and production of MOOCs, as well as the management, design and production of audiovisual material covering topics such as production resources, techniques for speaking before the camera, best practices and copyright.
In a collaborative and practical way, teachers had the opportunity to design a MOOC using the MOOCs Canvas, at the end of this activity they presented their MOOCs and received feedback from PhD (c) Morales, who gave them advice to take into account when designing, developing and implementing MOOCs.
