On November 15, MOOC-Maker project partners Carlos Alario PhD Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, MSc. Miguel Morales Universidad Galileo and MSc. Mariela Román Universidad Panamericana, gave the workshop “How to design a successful MOOC” at the central campus of Universidad Galileo, as a prelude to the 1st. MOOC-Maker International Conference.
At the workshop attended more than 40 participants, including university authorities, teachers and representatives of the business sector.
The workshop lasted an hour and a half and it was divided into three blocks, in which was presented the overview of MOOCs, the importance and main considerations to be taken into account when designing and developing MOOCs. And through a practical case study, the participants learned to design a MOOC taking into account the MOOC Canvas model.
