Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (partner of the MOOC Maker project) and Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María organize the free event event “Digitalization and MOOCs, drivers of innovation in Higher Education” to be held on November 28, 2016 in the San Joaquin campus of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
The event will be divided into 2 sessions, lectures (08:00-13:00 hours) and workshops (14:30 to 18:30 hours) in which will participate Chilean and international speakers it stands the participation of the MOOC-Maker partners Carlos Delgado Kloos PhD and Carlos Alario PhD from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain), Rocael Hernández Rizzardini PhD from Universidad Galileo (Guatemala) and Mar Pérez PhD from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
In the lectures will be presented the most innovative experiences in the use of digital technologies for higher education and will be discussed the institutional implications that these involve and during the workshops participants will have the opportunity to work with technological tools for MOOCs design and production, as well as methodology tools for the implementation of these initiatives at the institutional level.
